Room inspection

Congratulations on detecting a bed bug! Now you can take action to prevent the infestation from spreading any further.
Room inspection is only necessary if there has been confirmed detection of bed bugs.
Bed bugs can and will hide in any cracks or crevasses in the room. Be thorough and careful. Take the time to perform a comprehensive search.

Spotting Bed Bugs

  1. 1.
    Use a flashligh and a plastic card to carefully inspect the room, including the bed, bedding, furniture, and any cracks or crevices where bed bugs may hide.
  2. 2.
    Go through seams and folds with plastic card.
  3. 3.
    The inspection should take at least 15 min. Go through the checklist step by step.
