## Using Valpas: The desktop dashboard
**Live status of the Valpas protection in your hotel and insights**
The desktop dashboard is different from the mobile app. The Valpas mobile app is designed for frontline teams to resolve preventions in real time. In contrast, the desktop dashboard is primarily used by management staff to monitor live room status, track preventions, and review historical data and insights from the Valpas platform.
