Last updated 1 year ago

1. Find the gateway.

The gateway is usually located in a tech closet or somewhere near reception

2. Disconnect, then reconnect the power cable

Wait for about 10 seconds before reconnecting the power cable.

3. Look for lights on the gateway.

At first, you'll see a blue light while it restarts. After about a minute, it'll either turn red or green.

4. If the gateway light is green 🟢:

5. If the gateway light is red 🔴:

  • There might be a problem with the internet connection.

  • Confirm that the Gateway is connected to the internet. Check the router and ensure it's online.

  • Check your firewall settings to ensure they are not preventing the Gateway from connecting to the Valpas server. Adjust firewall settings if necessary.

  • Contact Valpas support

That means everything's working fine, and it's connected to the internet. It should be fully fixed in about 8 hours. If the issue persists. Contact Valpas for assistance.
