Configuring smart legs with Valpas app

This guide will walk you through the process of configuring Valpas Smart Legs using the Valpas app. Please follow each step carefully to ensure proper installation.

Step 1: Access Installation Mode

1. Open the Valpas App

If you don't have the valpas app follow the instructions:

2. Enter Installation Mode:

  • Navigate to your profile by tapping on the Profile icon.

  • In the profile menu, locate and select Installation Mode to begin the configuration process.

Step 2: Add Rooms

1. Add a Room:

  • In the bottomm right corner of the screen, tap the "+" button to add a new room.

2. Name the Room:

  • Enter the name of the room where you’re currently installing the Valpas Smart Legs.

Step 3: Configure the Smart Legs

1. Remove the cassette:

  • Detach the cassette from the leg you're installing. To do this, push the module out of the smart leg.

2. Configure Using the Valpas App:

  • Follow the in-app instructions to configure the smart legs. The app will guide you through connecting and setting up the smart legs for the room you named in Step 2.

3. Remove the Battery Strip

  • Carefully remove the battery strip from the cassette. This will activate the module.

4. Reinsert the cassette & Check for Red Light:

  • Place the cassette back inside the smart leg. Ensure it is securely placed inside.

  • Observe the cassette; a flashing red light indicates that the Valpas Smart Leg is installed correctly.

If the Red Light Stays On or Doesn't Blink:

  • Remove the module from the leg and reinstall it.

  • Repeat this process until you see the red light start blinking. A blinking red light confirms the installation is successful.

Your Valpas Smart Legs are now installed and ready for use. If you encounter any issues contact Valpas support.
