Room inspection is only required if a bed bug has been captured in the cassette or, obviously, somewhere else in the room.

For room inspections, please follow the instructions provided in the Valpas mobile app.

Bed bugs can hide in any cracks or crevices in the room. Be thorough and take your time to conduct a careful and comprehensive inspection.

Spotting Bed Bugs

  1. Use a flashligh and a plastic card to carefully inspect the room, including the bed, bedding, furniture, and any cracks or crevices where bed bugs may hide.

  2. Go through seams and folds with plastic card.

  3. The inspection should take at least 15 min. Go through the step by step.
