The Valpas router connects the guest room technology to the internet. It enables the smart bed legs to communicate securely and in real time—keeping protection status up to date across your hotel. Once installed, it works quietly in the background to support your certification and ensure continuous coverage.

Step 1: Get prepared

Make sure you have the following equipment:

Step 2: Selecting the ideal placement

Choose a discreet location for the router that meets the following criteria:

  • Close to a power socket

  • Within range of the guest rooms—preferably with only one wall or ceiling between the router and the beds

  • Near an Ethernet port or within reach of a stable Wi-Fi connection

Step 3: Power Up

Connect the power cable to the router and plug it into a wall outlet. The device will switch on automatically.

Status light (A) indicators:

  • 🟢 Green – Connected to the internet

  • 🔵 Blue – Trying to establish a connection

  • 🔵 Blinking blue – Configuration mode active

  • 🔴 Red – Connection error or no internet. Open configuration mode for troubleshooting.

Step 4: Connect to the internet

You can connect the router to the internet with an Ethernet cable connection or a Wi-Fi connection. Note that the Ethernet connection automatically override the Wi-Fi connection.

Using cable connection (Recommended)

Attach an Ethernet cable to the router

Using Wi-Fi connection

Open the configuration mode and set up a Wi-Fi connection as instructed.

  1. Activate configuration mode Press the configuration button (F) on the router until the status light (A) starts blinking. The router will become a Wi-Fi access point.

  1. Connect your device Using your phone, computer, or tablet, connect to the access point. Select treongw1-serialnumber, where serialnumber matches your router’s serial number.

  1. Enter your password The password is printed on the label inside the router. If Windows 10 asks for a PIN code as the default access point password, select the option to enter a password instead. ⚠️ Important: Change the default password after setup.

  1. Access the router settings Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1.

  1. Configure your settings

  • Change the router’s access point password (recommended).

  • Review the error log.

  • Set up your Wi-Fi connection.

  1. Exit configuration mode When finished, either click Quit in the browser interface or press and hold the configuration button (F) until the status light stops blinking.

Step 5: Check the status light

🟢 (A) is green

When the light is green the router is connected to the internet and the installation is ready.

🔴 (A) is red
