# Digital certificate of safety

Give peace of mind to travellers

The **Valpas digital certificate of safety** shows a guest that their room is protected by Valpas and **Valpas-certified bed bug-safe**. Every room has its own certificate.

## **Using the certificate to reassure guests**

If a guest expresses concern, show them the **digital certificate of safety** for their room on screen, or download it as a PDF and send it to them. The certificate shows:

* **Your room is protected**
* your hotel's name and the room number
* the Valpas SafeSleep bed legs in the room, each with a green dot confirming it is protecting the room

{% hint style="info" %}
When you handle a guest concern in the dashboard, **Share digital certificate** opens the same certificate in a new tab.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
This certificate covers one room, for guests. When a client, travel manager or partner asks for proof of your **hotel's** certification, use **Share certificate** on the [Certification](/using-valpas-the-desktop-dashboard/certification.md) page.
