This section gives you a clear overview of the key Valpas components you’ll interact with during installation and daily use. Each part plays a role in keeping your rooms protected and your Valpas certification active—discreetly, safely, and without disrupting your guests.

Valpas smart bed legs and smart leg

These patented smart legs attract and trap bed bugs before they spread. A special surface coating draws them in, guided by the natural CO₂ emitted by guests. Once installed, the smart legs connect wirelessly via the Valpas router to form a digital safety network—working quietly behind the scenes to keep rooms protected and your certification active.

Basic legs

These legs do not contain traps, but they support the overall protection of the room. Their special coating prevents bed bugs from climbing up to the bed, helping to stop the spread. Used alongside the smart bed legs, they contribute to a complete and discreet safety barrier that keeps your rooms protected and your certification intact.

The smart bed legs are installed at the head of the bed, where guests rest their heads, while the basic legs are installed at the foot of the bed.

Router

This is the central connection point between the Valpas guest room technology and the internet. It enables seamless communication across your hotel, ensuring that room protection data and certification status stay up to date in real time.

Valpas mobile app

The Valpas mobile app helps you manage room protection and keep your certification active—right from your phone. It notifies you when action is needed and provides clear, step-by-step guidance to handle tasks safely and efficiently. Whether you're maintaining your rooms or responding to a new event, the app keeps your hotel environment protected and guest-ready at all times.
