To log in to the Valpas mobile app, please follow these steps:

Open the Valpas mobile app

Launch the app on your device.

Enter your email address

Type your email address in the field provided. Make sure it’s spelled correctly before continuing.

Check your email for a login code

Open your email inbox and look for a message from Valpas. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Enter the code in the app

Go back to the Valpas app and type the code in the “Enter code” field. Tap “Submit code” to proceed.

The app will automatically verify the code and log you in.

Please make sure to double-check the spelling and accuracy of your email address before proceeding with the login process.

The different sections of the Valpas mobile app:

1. Tasks view

When you open the Valpas mobile app, you will be greeted with the Tasks View. This view displays all the tasks that need to be completed. Each task can be resolved using the mobile app.

  • Purple task - Prevention: A purple task represents a prevention that needs attention. On the right side of the task, you will find a timer showing the time that has passed since the prevention occurred.

  • Yellow task - Maintenance: A yellow task indicates that a maintenance action is required for the room's leg. This may involve tasks such as changing batteries, ensuring proper installation of modules, or resolving issues with an offline module.

2. Rooms view

In the Rooms view, you can see a comprehensive display of all the rooms in your hotel. You have the option to search for a specific room by its number. Each room is represented by a dot on the right side, indicating its status.

To access more detailed information about a specific room, you can tap on the room either in the Rooms view or the Tasks view. This action will open the Room view, providing you with a closer look at the room's current state and tasks. In the Room View, you can view all the tasks associated with the selected room.

Notifications settings

Manage your app notifications settings. Make sure you allowed the Valpas mobile app to send you notifications to be notified of any preventions and maintenance tasks needed.

Installation mode

  • Check the network status of your hotel (is it online or offline). In order to keep your hotel protected, the network should be online meaning your Valpas smart legs are connected to the internet.

  • Add a new room

  • Delete an existing room

  • Connect a smart leg to a room

When performing prevention tasks using the Valpas mobile app, one important step involves capturing a picture.

To capture a picture, follow these steps:

  1. Aim the camera towards the area or object that needs to be documented for the prevention.

  2. Once the subject is properly framed, tap the camera shutter button to capture the image.

  3. The captured image will be sent to the specialists for further evaluation.

  4. The Valpas specialists will review the image and determine if any additional actions are required.

  5. If further actions are needed, the Valpas specialists will send you additional instructions or notifications through the app.

It's important to ensure that the captured image is clear and includes all relevant details necessary for the prevention task. Make sure there is sufficient lighting and that the subject of the prevention is in focus within the picture frame.
