Configuring smart legs with the Valpas mobile app

This guide walks you through the process of configuring Valpas smart legs using the Valpas app. Please follow each step carefully to ensure proper installation and room protection.

Step 1: Access installation mode

Open the Valpas mobile app

If you don’t have the Valpas app yet, follow the instructions under .

Enter installation mode

  • Tap the Profile icon in the app.

  • In the profile menu, select Installation mode to begin the configuration process.

Step 2: Add rooms

Add a room

Tap the “+” button in the bottom right corner of the screen to add a new room.

Name the room

Enter the name of the room where you’re currently installing the Valpas smart legs.

Step 3: Configure the smart legs

Remove the cassette

Remove the cassette

Gently remove the cassette from the smart leg you’re installing. To do this, push the module out of the leg.

Configure it with the Valpas mobile app

Follow the instructions in the app to pair the smart leg with the room.

Follow the in-app instructions to configure the smart legs. The app will guide you step by step, helping you connect and assign each smart leg to the room you named in Step 2.

Remove the battery strip

Carefully remove the battery strip from the cassette to activate the module.

Reinsert the cassette and check for a red light

  • Place the cassette back inside the smart leg. Ensure it is securely placed inside.

  • Observe the cassette; a flashing red light indicates that the Valpas Smart Leg is installed correctly.

If the red light stays on or doesn't blink:

  • Remove the cassette from the leg and reinstall it.

  • Repeat this process until you see the red light start blinking. A blinking red light confirms the installation is successful.

Your Valpas smart bed legs are now installed and ready for use. If you encounter any issues contact Valpas support.
